BIBLE VERSES

EXODUS 3:14

"And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you."

This is the moment when the indwelling Presence reveals its nature to the lower mind. It is not a metaphysical definition but an inner disclosure: the Higher Self naming itself to the instrument that must act on its behalf.

“I AM THAT I AM” — the declaration of pure Being

In biblical symbolism, this phrase expresses the self‑existent center within the soul, the part that does not arise from conditions, history, or personality.

It is:
• uncreated
• unchanging
• the ground of consciousness
• the source from which all true action proceeds

The Presence identifies itself not by attribute but by being itself.

Moses — the lower mind receiving the Name

Moses symbolizes the developed but still personal mind, capable of hearing the inner Voice yet not identical with it.

When the Presence speaks the Name, Moses becomes:
- aligned
- authorized
- commissioned

The lower mind is no longer acting from its own initiative but from the inner authority of Being.

“I AM hath sent me unto you” — the mission of the personality

The personality is not erased; it is sent.

This means:
- the outer agent becomes the vehicle of the inner
- action flows from Presence rather than ego
- the soul’s work is grounded in the eternal, not the transient

The mission is validated because its origin is the I AM, not the personal will.

The inner pattern revealed

Exodus 3:14 describes the essential sequence of spiritual development:
- The Presence reveals itself
- The lower mind recognizes the Source
- The personality becomes the messenger of Being

This is the foundation of all authentic spiritual action.

The Esoteric Message.....
Exodus 3:14 teaches that the soul’s true authority arises from the indwelling Presence called “I AM,” and that the personality becomes a valid instrument only when it acts from this inner center of pure Being.
