AEON
A symbol of the Divine primordial Unity, the
manifesting Spirit emanating from the Absolute. The primal Monad of
Life.
"Eon, moreover, is God's image; Cosmos is Eon's; the Sun (is the
image) of Cosmos; and Man the image of the Sun." - Corpus Hermeticum,
XI.
Divine Unity, the manifesting Spirit or Monad of Life, is the
projection of God; the Archetypal Form-universe, or Monad of Form,
is the projection of Divine Unity; the Individuality is the
projection of the Archetypal Form-life; and the Personality is the
projection of the Individuality.

The Higher Self, the Divine Life of the manvantara, is the First
Being produced by the Absolute; the Second Being is the Archetypal
universe; the human Soul is the Third.
