AGNISHVATTA PITRIS

A symbol of the monads of life; the spiritual egos central in every soul, and of atma-buddhic nature. These are the "Sparks from the Flame," the Divine egos which render human souls immortal.

"As from a blazing fire consubstantial sparks proceed in a thousand ways, so from the imperishable Spirit various living souls are produced, and they return to Him again.” - Mundaka Upanishad, II. 1, 1.

"The spirit of man contains a spark from the power and light of God." - BEHMEN.

"Only the little spark' of the soul is to be at all times with God and united with God." - ECKHART.

"What is clear to my mind is that every individual human soul is a detached, or seemingly detached, portion of the Universal Substance, and that all the potencies of divinity are in it waiting to be revealed. We have come from the One; unto the One shall we return, but not empty-handed." - R. J. CAMPBELL, Sermon The Son of Man Ascending.
