ANTSA symbol of the monads of life and form. "Ye divine ants-for it was they that produced this (ant-hill), the first-born of the world,'-the first-born of the world, doubtless, is this earth."-Sata. Brah., XIV. 1, 2, 10. The spiritual monads (atma- buddhic) build up the forms and endow with life all the atoms and beings of the lower nature, which manifest first,-prior to spiritual qualities. The first to manifest in the cycle of evolution is the lower nature (earth). |
