AROUERIS, THE ELDER HORUS

A symbol of the Second Logos, the indwelling God born upon the buddhic plane.

"Upon the second (of the five new days), Aroueris, whom some call Apollo, others, the elder Horus, was born." — Plutarch, Isis and Osiris, §12.

The “five days” signify the five planes of manifestation, upon the second of which — the buddhic — the incarnate Self has his first birth.
