ASHA-VANUHI, OR ASHISH VANUHI, DAUGHTER OF AHURA-MAZDAA symbol of Wisdom, the principle of buddhi, an emanation of the Supreme. "Let the water drops fall here for the destruction of the daevas and devis. May the good Sraosha slay them! May Asha-vanuhi take up her abode here! May Asha-vanuhi grant happiness here, in this sacred abode of Homa, the transmitter of righteousness.-Homa Yasht. Let the truth of the Supreme be the means of dispelling the misconceptions and illusions which have been formed by attachment to the opinions and desires of the lower mind or desire nature. May the Divine power (Sraosha) be the means of annihilating the unreal! May Wisdom now come into her birth-right! May Wisdom be the means of securing the bliss which is to flourish in the kingdom of Love, the dispenser of Righteousness!
