BARLEY-CORNSSymbolic of Wisdom and Love,— the food of the soul. "You are clarified butter and honey, O ye barley-corns; you are water and ambrosia. Signifying; may Love and Wisdom and celestial Truth, purify my soul in expression, in deed, and in thought!
