HERB YIELDING SEED AFTER ITS KIND
Symbolic of the natural laws of growth and
increase in the development of the desires, affections, and
faculties of the soul.
"And the earth brought forth grass, herb yielding seed after its
kind, and tree bearing fruit, wherein is the seed thereof, after its
kind: and God saw that it was good." - Genesis i. 12.
And the physical or natural law of growth was set in operation, and
the laws which worked upon the lower planes of being were
established and commenced to act. And all perfect in the period of
involution. In other words, there was an awakenment of the divine
life in the lower nature (earth) which then brought forth the
desires and affections which give rise to higher states. Also there
appeared the aspirations which are to bear fruit on higher planes.
And all was made perfect in preparation for forthcoming evolution.
