BIBLE VERSES

KHUS (LOWER ASPECT)

A symbol of the personalities, or the astro-physical forms, containing the monads of Life.

"My mouth is strong; and I am equipped against the Khus; let them not have dominion over me." - Book of the Dead, Ch. CX.

The expression of the Self upon the lower and upper planes is significant, for the Self is impervious to the allurements of the sense nature.

"He places a limit to the hurtful power of the shining forms (khus)." – Ibid

The Self by limiting its own manifestation is also the means of preventing the attraction to the form-side of life from alluring the personality to destruction.

“The fullness of the forms of the shining ones is granted unto me; I comprehend the Light." - Ibid.

The forms having been exhausted, are outgrown and discarded, not, however, without furnishing the Self with such experience as may have been derived thereby.
