SEVENTH HOUR OF THE NIGHT OF THE TUATThis symbolises the first period of evolution after the close of the six periods of involution. The cycle of life is taken as made up of twelve periods six for the process of involution of all the qualities into matter and six for their evolution from matter. The intermediate state between involution and evolution is a state of pralaya or quiescence sometimes called a day of rest this is not counted in the twelve divisions of the Tuat or the Zodiac because it is a negative state. The first point of the sign Libra indicates the perfect or balanced condition of things from which evolution starts. |
