The "thirsty world" is a symbol of the illusory or phenomenal which yet is, as it were, the means whereby the nature of the Self is realised. Through the phenomenal is displayed that which is within, the Self, and this order of being is spoken of as the Law, since the finite-conditioned is but the symbol and evidence of the infinite and unconditioned. |
