BIBLE VERSES

LUKE 16:31

"And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead."

This is not about rejecting historical evidence.
It’s about the inner anatomy of persuasion and how the soul actually awakens.

“If they hear not Moses and the prophets…”

In biblical symbolism, Moses and the prophets are the inner law and the inner voice.
• Moses = the structure of the soul, the law written within
• The prophets = the qualities that speak from the Spirit
• “Hear” = the soul’s capacity to receive inner truth

So this line means:
If the soul cannot hear the inner voice, no outer miracle will awaken it.

“Neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead”

In mysticism, resurrection is the rising of the Higher Life.

But if the soul is still ruled by the Personality:
• it demands outer proof
• it clings to the Letter
• it cannot perceive the Spirit
• it resists transformation

So even if the Higher rises, the unawakened soul remains unmoved.

This is the same pattern as:
- Herod hearing of Christ and remaining unchanged
- The Pharisees seeing miracles but clinging to the law
- The soul witnessing the Fire but refusing to yield

The Esoteric Message.....
Luke 16:31 shows that unless the soul has awakened its inner hearing, even the rising of the Higher Life will not persuade it — for transformation begins not with outer signs but with inward receptivity.
