ADAM'S DEAD BODY
A symbol of the old self, devoid of spiritual
life, and through discarding which the soul rises.
" Noah carries the body of Adam into the Ark, his three sons
following with the sacred tokens . " - Book of the Conflicts of
Adam.
“ Noah ," the individuality or sublimated Adam," conveys his old
self with him, as it were , in the causal-body (ark), as it is only
through it, and by surmounting it , that he rises . His sons " stand
here for the fruit of the affectionate nature , and these willingly
follow with the tokens of the essence of his aspiration,-Faith, Love
, Wisdom , Power.
