BIBLE VERSES

JOHN 16:5

"But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?"

In biblical symbolism, this is not about geography.
It’s about the movement of consciousness.

“I go my way to him that sent me”
This is the Higher Life withdrawing from the outer level of the soul and returning to its own center.

- Christ‑consciousness is rising inward
- The soul is being invited to follow
- The Divine Life is returning to its source within
- The outer, sensory‑based awareness can no longer hold it

This is the moment when the inner Teacher moves from without to within.

“None of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?”

The disciples represent the qualities of the soul.

They do not ask because:
- the lower mind cannot perceive the inward movement
- the qualities are still attached to the outer form
- the Personality does not understand the withdrawal of the Higher
- the soul has not yet awakened its inner hearing

In mysticism this is the stage where the Higher withdraws, but the soul has not yet learned to follow it inward.

It is the same pattern as:
- Elijah ascending
- The Ark moving inward
- The veil closing before it opens again

The Higher moves first.
The soul learns to follow later.

The Esoteric Message.....
John 16:5 shows the Higher withdrawing into the inner sanctuary of the soul while the unawakened qualities, still outward‑facing, fail to perceive or follow the inward ascent of the Divine Life.
